Headed to Seattle

Welcome to Roger Feenstra's bicycling blog! This blog was created (by his daughter) so friends and family can keep up with his Sea to Sea bicycle trip. This is a cross country biking adventure that began in Seattle, WA on Monday, June 28 and ends in Jersey City, NJ on Saturday, August 30 with 3,881 miles in between. The money raised by the bicyclists is going to the Christian Reformed Church's mission to "End the Cycle of Poverty". For more information about this trip, you can visit their website at http://www.crcna.org/pages/sea_front.cfm

As I get updates about his trip, I'll post them here. Hopefully he can find a time to email some pictures along the way. He doesn't have a computer on the trip so we'll have to add information as we get it. We wish him and all the other 220 cyclists well in their endeavor and pray for health, safety, and some good weather during the next 9 weeks.

Stay tuned!

Looking forward to updates. I wasn't sure when he left. Mom told me he was in the "sea" yesterday. See you on the 4th.
